Made another dozer loader with a couple small improvements. Have been lacking a little inspiration.

You've outdone yourself...again.
I hope the inspiration returns.
Scott.
Thanks.
I have been considering a scale curved stairway. Dallas
>>>I have been considering a scale curved stairway. Haha... maybe you could do a mini-Stan Foster project...and if you got bored then tackle a gyro or heli?Of course there's always Armin's stuff for stairways too... serious inspiration there.Scott.
That is what I have been thinking One like what Stan does.
I already did Stan's gyro.
that is awesome!
Thanks Huck
do you make all these things from scratch or from some kind of plans?
Some are made from scratch, some are made from a picture, and some are from plan.
Maddog gave me a book of plans that the dozer came from.
Dallas

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming

Sunday and all I thought I would be nice today. I like being called sir, makes me feel more important than I am.
Very neat... how bout one with a 4 way bucket?<G>http://www.tvwsolar.com
We'll have a kid
Or maybe we'll rent one
He's got to be straight
We don't want a bent one
He'll drink his baby brew
From a big brass cup
Someday he may be president
If things loosen up
Thanks, I will look into the 4 way bucket one.
I never get tried of admiring your skill and patience..... Byooteeful

Very impressive and equally cool looking. From what I've seen, that's a really fine example of wooden model building.
I've known several good model builders, mostly airplanes. I wish I had the patience for it.
Thanks, They do take patience. Hardest part of that one is drilling 1/8" hole in a 1/4" dowel. About 5 steps for me to get 1 1/2" deep in dowel.
Looks amazing!
Do the treads "function"? What are they made of?
Quantum materiae materietur marmota monax si marmota monax materiam possit materiari?
Thanks, They do not function, just look pretty. They are made of a bunch of little pieces glued on the oval piece. Most of what I have is white oak and pine.
