Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming
WOW!!! What a Ride!
Forget the primal scream, just ROAR!!!
Just a Cape Cod from the fifties, Mostly original inside, no additions.
Wow !
Is that a wow to the house?
No to the lawn mower .
I keep thinking your talents should be on display.
Wife has an uncle who schulptures figgurines from wood .
I wish I had their pics as they are wonderful I would love to share . He uses a denist drill in a dremmel but some one got him a foot control job but hes still doing the same work.
He said he has to much time in them to sell them and theres no where to put them for display for others to enjoy so he gives them away. I dont have one or you would get to see it .
Tim
Too much time to sell is correct. I would love to see your uncle's work or anybody's.

I get the strange feeling I should be saving all my little bits of left over wood and throw them all in a box and ship them to him. Can't imagine what he'd do with 'em.

I have a hard time throwing wood away. Can't throw away even the smallest of stuff.
If I have a picture I think I can make it.
Needing new ideas for projects. Thanks

Send a picture of what you want made out of it and I will return the postage to you.
I don't want anything made for me..
make them for kids or for somebody that you can warm their heart ...
do what ever you want with the wood... It will be good to know it was put to good use instead of getting fed to the wood stove..
you can be selective as you like... be picky with the sizes too... ask is all you need to do...
woods from Africa, the Americas, Austraila, Europe, Asia and a few other places....
couple of hundred pounds get ya by???
got most of a Mahogany mantel for a 12' wide fireplace you can have....
I think you do some really fine work...Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming<!----><!----><!---->

I am down to White Oak and Pine. Used up all my Walnut and Maple.
About a month ago I got rid of a some misc scraps and a 5 gal bucket of small bits. Red & white oak, some hickory, SYP, Osage, and some misc.
Currently all my free time is spent on my project house, so I don't have any time to do small projects that would use the scraps up. They don't have any monetary value, but I hate to just toss 'em out if I can find someone who can use 'em.
If you can use them, I'll just wait until I get another bucket of 'em and ship it to ya. And sounds like IMERC has some scraps he'd like to find a home for.
Hate to see scraps get wasted. Especially if it is a non-pine type wood.

Same deal. Need ideas.
Like IMERC, I can't really think of one I'd want. Just like seeing the pics of what you're doing with it. I think the one that really got my attention was when you did the fork for Diesel. That was neat. And then the gyro like Stan's old bird. That is a pretty neat way to use some bits and scraps. Sure beats feeding it to the wood stove.
Let me think about it and I'll come up with some ideas. About all I can think of right now is BossHog's farming thread. Have you ever done a combine? He would probably get a kick out of that.
If you want to fire off an email to me with a mailing address, I can pass it along to IMERC. Sounds like he has better grade of scraps than I do/did. But my scrap bucket will get filled back up soon enough.

Dw wants to know if it comes with a bagging option?
And how does your DW deal with the "divorce" dust.
Definition of divorce dust....Any dust caused by Hubby due to reno's or projects that float around the house for extended periods of time.
No to the bagging option. DW supports me in everything. I think she likes them as much as I do. I have a hard time getting her to let me put them back in basement.
Thank you
