I have a basic question about wall door frame and door hanging.
1. How should custom made door wall frame be attached to already existing wall? [screews/nails]
2. If i have a door without a Jamb can i hang it directly on a Jack Stud or i need to make a Jamb and then to Jack Stud?

1. Either, but not drywall screws.
2. Usually doors are hung to a jamb, jamb set to the wall. Adjust rough openings accordingly with some shim space or damn fine framing.
.
Use a jamb so you can fine tune it to plumb and have a good piece of wood for finish. Studs get covered by the drywall and hanging the door directly to the jack stud will make for a lot of irritating detailing when it comes time to trim
hangin a door directly to a stud? why?
did you make the RO to small and need the additional 1.5" ?
unless its your house, no one would accept.
