Double vapor barrier problem : 2 layers of ISOFOIL in basement

Hi,

 

I’m insulating my basement by sticking a 2 inch Isofoil on the concrete. Then I’m planning to add a division of 2×4 all around, against the 2 inch layer, and fill the spaces between the 2x4s with another piece of Isofoil (3 inch).

Would that cause a problem ??

    Pretty sure it will not be a problem, but you can always ask the Isofoil folks to be sure (or maybe find suggestions on their website).
