I have a project design where there is an elevated porch with a roof over a porch on the lower level. Both the upper and lower porches have tongue and groove wood ceilings. I plan to slope the floor of the elevated porch but I am concerned that water will get through the upper floor and be trapped above the lower tongue and groove ceiling. Is there a detail or a product that might be a solution?
Thanks

Are you asking how to waterproof the upper deck?
What is the decking on the elevated porch?
I have seen pvc and vinly sheet decking that looks good and is reasonably priced. We have used a waterproof membrane (torchdown or pvc) and used a pedestal paver system that is installed level.
Here is a link to Appian Construction (paver pros). They are suppliers as well as a installer here in the NW. They have a pedestal system designed for over a membrane. They also have a system designed to go over wood joists where waterproofing is not a concern. http://www.appianconstruction.com/aws2.htm
I have also put wood decking over the top of membrane roofing.

I did it recently as the house was originally done- t&g fir flooring with joists slpoed to shed water as you said. It works out nice. I thought about that vinyl ceiling system- but it seemed like the old way was the way to go.
you need to sheathe the roof and apply EPDM, then sleepers and a wood surface. T&G ternds to trap water in grooves and not last long.
On smaller decks such as a landing around 4'x 6' or so, i have given it a slight slope, and used gorilla glue in the grooves as a sealant. Works fairly well, but still only keeps 99% of the water out from below.
yachts have similar deck surfaces, and use rope caulk and sealant folowed by new finished vaarnish on deck every couple years.
