Drill bit stuck in DeWalt 20v Impact Driver
A 1 1/4″ wood bit is stuck. I was putting a lot of pressure on it drilling in an oak stump. DeWalt (ontario, ca) will usually fix something like this no charge if its super simple. With no contact rules I have to mail it in and wait for them to contact me with a price. Aggravation!

I had tried putting bit in a vice but the drill just twisted out of my hand.
I guess I remember something like this happening sometime. This was in a Panasonic impact driver with with the quick release chuck. Soaked chuck liberally with Zep, tapped the side of the chuck with my hammer handle, pulled up on the chuck and after a couple tries, release.
Maybe hand tightened chucks, held drill down on horse, channel locks on chuck. Broke loose. More liberal dousing with Zep or WD after, clean and kept working. Treat anything that makes you money in good condition!
It's not uncommon for bits to get stuck in impact drivers. I dunno if it's something the manufacturer would approve of, but I find that whacking the bit lightly with a hammer will free it up.
That’s my go to as well. Hitting it once from each side has always freed it up for me.
I stuck a driver bit in a Makita once. What finally worked was clamping a large pair of vice grips tight to the bit and whacking the vice grips straight down with a hammer, as in the direction you would normally pull the bit, all the while keeping the bit retainer pulled back. Not saying this is what you should do but it has worked for me.
Sometimes if you hold it in a vice grip and reverse the direction on the impact and give it a quick on it will pop right out
