Have to liquidate some toys.
It’s a 1980s Rockman ll, wine red, 4 cymbals, two toms, snare, bass tom, the base drum has an extra kick pedal for it with a chain mechanism for some type of double bass sound if someone wants to hook it up, threebanger roto toms on a stand, package of new heads, a cowbell and some accessories and bag stuff.
$680 and local pickup as I’m not shipping the stuff.
Just thought I’d mention it as I didn’t want to get involved with taking pics unless someone was interested.
Located an hour East of Cleveland, Ohio.
Cheers

I used to be a drummer and played in dance bands for bars and cheap clubs like the VFWs . <G>
I got called one time a few years back to sit in and I am no longer a drummer . Totally lost it . I did good to keep beat to help them out and IM not sure it did . Ill never do it again. I had a set of Buddy Hollys Cymbals though.
Tim
Were you in a Prog rock band, or something?

One of the worlds GREATEST drummers of all time!
I had the honor of hearing him play at The Fillmore East one night along with Buddy Miles and was totally blown away!
They did a tune called, "Expressway To Your Skull".
Not sure if this link will work...

my first drum teacher was in the Buddy Rich touring band for a while ...
he was on Carson a time or two
He was Buddy's drummer ... they had Buddy up front ...
and usually had another drummer hidden in the back of the band too.
Babe Fabrizi ... or spelling something close to that!
Man ... it's only been ... almost 25 or 30 yrs ago.
If U stuck around the drum studio long enough yuo'd learn to play Rock ... but he started everyone out on Jazz. First song I ever learned on a set was Mack the Knife.
haven't had a set in about 20 yrs .... but I can still play both traditional stick and straight. Babe insisted you played the set traditional grip ... just like Buddy!
we got no room ... but I think it's just about time for a set for Corey.
did a quick new search ... found a great deal on a "Jr Set" ... nice stuff ...
just smaller.
no fun for me ... but probably better for the kid.

Yeah..what kinda cymbals? Zildjin, Paiste, Sabian? Crash, ride, sizzler?
I am seriously inquiring, and can come up there easily.
Got a throne to go along with it?
Oh, and the heads are REMO?

I'll get out there for the stats later today.
I'd bought the set from the framer neighbor guy when he messed up his back and got in dollar trouble over his housepayments as he was off work for a long time.
Working steady at the time and thought to help him out and 'gee, I always wanted a drumset...'

I'd love to have a drum set. But I'm still catching grief over the bongo drums. LOL
Drove by (the secret location of the Rez bat cave) about 3:30 yesterday. The wife was tired as heck and wanted to get a room. She pointed at the Days Inn and said. "That looks like a nice place to stay." I replied. "Yea I shacked up with a couple of guys there once. Then we picked up another guy." I let her wonder for a minute or two before I reminded her about going to Tipifest last year.
We didn't stop until we got home. We slept probably six hours all weekend and I just wanted to get home to my blanky and sleep in my own bed.

Took the tour out back and got some specs.
Paiste 14" highhat w/Ludwig pedal.
Paiste 20" drycrisp on separate stand.
Paiste 16"crash and 18" Meinl 18" crash on bass drum.
Rude 16" crash on separate stand. The 16" Paiste crash has a 2" rip on the cymbal edge as I jammed with him before and he plays hard I guess.
Have new heads in package for the base drum and two toms and the other has been put on the snare.
The base drum, floor tom, two toms and snare are Ludwigs. Red color and the red finish has been removed off one of the two toms so it is just wood showing. He'd said he was going to put new on it and never did.
The snare is chrome and the Remo set is 6" 8" and 10" on a separate stand.
Base drum has two Tama pedals with one set up with two strikers. There is an extra Tama snare pedal.
A canvas carrying case for 16" and 20" cymbals and a canvas stick carrier and I added an old cowbell I had from the cow.
be no milk tho'

I tried but just don't got it so I'll stick with the guitar. At least I can do a few licks. Got them mostly so people could drop by and jam. I'm shid on drums.
Well, actually I'm shid on guitar too. Was shid on harmonica and trumpet, and now that I think on it was on the violin too.
dang man, I'm fulla shid.
