Anyone know of a “booster fan” for 4″ dryer duct or a method of taking dryer exhaust on long runs. I’m trying to move a vent so it doesn’t exhaust into the garage. The only other place is the crawl space and I don’t even want to think about what that would do to the framing over time.

Tek Supply sells an in-line lint trap and booster fan. I used both to do precisely what you are thinking of doing. The fan was approx. $150, the lint trap $35. Both are high-quality and were easy to work with.
