Has anyone used DryJoist (or similar) structural decking channels? I’m looking into waterproof decking systems, and am trying to gather as much info as I can. The deck will be in Oakland, CA., btw.

Is that the aluminum stuff that locks together incorporating a sort of mini-gutter under it so that water can't get thru.
If it is, I haven't used it but played with a sample of it and thought it was kind of a cool idea. I wonder what the aluminum surface would look like after a few years.
