Hey All,
I have a job coming up that I will have to raise the ceiling joists back to the level they were in 20 years ago. My concern is that when I do this the drywall will not come up as easy as the joists. So I have contemplated the idea of wetting the back side of the drywall and slowly raise up the joists allowing the drywall to develope a new memory and not causing to much damage. The ceiling has a popcorn texture on it, and I will be repainting after this process. Any thoughts???
