i was looking to neaten up a closet, and wanted to drywall inside. It is a old closet/ house and bumped into tan issue where the divide between the closet on the other side is flush with the door. How would I dry wall this?
was thinking including an outside corner bead, but it will be too long.
any ideas would be appreciated.

How about some J bead?
Tear away L-bead from Trimtex. The tear away when removed after finishing will leave you with a nice straight line and the plastic “L” will cap the end of the Sheetrock.
Leave a slight gap at the door.
Remember it is a closet.
