These stairs and a small landing cover the space between a mudroom and the kitchen.
Don’t want to do tile. Carpet is not a good choice.
I have just about resigned myself to vinyl with the crappy metal nosing.
Any other ideas out there?

Search rubber stair treads, I just looked and there are a few companies that supply a wrap around tread cover. I've seen these in the past and they're pretty heavy duty.
I have considered those, but wondered how I would handle the landing. Also, the one supplier I did find was commercial only.
I will try again down that road. If you hear of or see a system available, please let me know.
