I am planning to renovate a bit my old and small apartment lol.
Well I am just confused which plan shuld I opt for.
For flooring and rugs I have done a bit research and also sort a few brands like rugsusa and rugknots.con etc.
Please guide me on few quries;
1) Which one do you prefer?
2) What’s the best way to install flooring or rugs?
3) Do you have any tips for making it hard for pets to pee on the floor/rugs?
4) Should I go with a shiny, low-profile laminate or a thicker wood type?

If you have pets that will mark with their urine, stay away from any rugs. you never can get the smell out, and it is too easy to miss the mess.
Get something you like the looks of.
Are you planning to install this yourself, or have it installed?
With pets use tile. Easy to clean and with the styles available today it can mimic just about anything. Do use Schluter ditra heat to keep the feet warm and confortable.
If you want to keep pets in your home. Then you should use tiles. But if you want to use it for home. Then you should use floors.
If you want to keep pet animals then you should use tiles otherwise use floors.
if it's an apartment, you should be going to the landlord about renovating flooring as that's something that will stay after you move out, rugs you could roll up and take to the next residence (or toss if the pets do too much on it, however, as previously mentioned, the smell may go into the underlying flooring surface and remain)
