I know this ought to be in tools but I am hoping to get a quick answer before I go spend money… the time has come to buy a set of electric sheet metal shears. I would think that one of the manufacturers has a pair that can have either a sheet metal head or a fiber-cement head, but oddly enough no one seems to advertise them that way. I would much prefer to buy a set that I could install a fiber-cement head on for later use. Does anyone know if one of the manufacturers does this?

Nick,
Kett says the heads interchange. Get the nibblers too.

And I have the PorterCable and they do NOT interchange (but they should). Besides, the Kett, for $10 more has a 1/2" capacity and can cut 1/2" Hardiboard.
Thanks guys, I thought I had looked at the Kett page before, but maybe I missed the part about the heads being interchangable. I was going to make an impulse buy ( I have a bunch of ductwork to rough in this week), but I didn't want to waste my money on something I can't put a fiber-cement head on.
Thanks again for the info.
