Does anybody have experience with electric towel warmers? I have seen them on ebay for 200 bucks, but also found them for 1500 bucks on the internet. What is the difference between them? I am only using it for the towels not as a main heat source in the bathroom.

There is no cure for stupid. R. White.
One is $150 too much, othern is $1450 too much, in my opinion.
I don't need it to heat up my towel when I leave the shower, it will be used to dry the towel after use. The bathroom has no window for ventilation and the door is closed most of the time (we have two little kids running in the house).
The bathroom fan is hooked up to a timer and to a humidistat too. But the humidistat can't sense the moisture that the towel contains.
I found that after somebody takes a shower and closes the door afterwards the moisture is getting removed out of the room but the wet towel leaves a musty smell in the bathroom. I experimented with it and removed the wet towel after showering which removes the "smelly" source.

These are sorted by price. I cant make any recommendations since I have no experience.
I had to deal with one from Myson. A short while after installation it leaked oil at the seal where the wiring feeds the heating element. A replacement did the same. A second replacement had a big dent in it, and so did the next one. We got a fifth one in there and called it good. This was a ~$2500 unit from Europe. Never again.
