I am in the process of remodeling a room in the first floor of my home. This includes new electrical for this room as well as roughing in plumbing for future expansion into an adjacent room. The room is only 8X10. What is the typical allowance for the proximity of romex crossing domestic water trunk lines at right angles?
IOW, can the romex be within a 1/4 inch of the supply lines?
Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Yes
I know of nothing in the UPC - uniform plumbing code-- that gives such a clearence.
If using mc cable instead of romex you need to protect the point of contact from disimilar metals
pb...thanks for the feedback. i didn't think there was but I am not a licensed plumber or electrician.
