I am looking for techniques to build an elevated stone or tile deck. My customer claims to have seen a stone deck built over a waterproofed, elevated, floor structure framed with engineered lumber and 3/4″ CDX. Does anyone have experience with this type of construction?

Not exactly with stone, but very similar.
I have seen what you're talking about. I believe it has some form of recieving metal angle grid the stone is laid into.
