Someones tool discussion made me think of an emergency supply kit such as….
1 ea. sawzall blades, diff. teeth/lenth
a band aid
a roll of toilet paper
small pack of utility knife blades
pencil
small engine spark plug
2 cycle oil
what other disposables you got hidden away behind your seat?

Hmmm. That splains yer handle.
A six pack and a 5th of JD Darkworksite4: When the job is to small for everyone else, Its just about right for me"
A bottle of hand cleaner from the auto parts store.
On the sawzall blades, I try to keep one wood and one metal blade new in the blister pack at all times, so if I need a good blade I know which is the best in the case. I keep a couple of used ones in the case also, as backups and for trashy work.
A small, fine, high-quality file. To restore a dull saw blade instead of running to the store and/or to get the burr off of the drill bit or roto-hammer spline to it will fit/be centered.

a van load of tools, plumbing and electrical fittings/fixtures, nails and screws.......some scrap wood. Jeff "That's like hypnotizing chickens........."
Jeff-
Your Chevy van sounds a lot like my Chevy van. Tons of screws. Misc wood scraps. Ton of tools.........As much of my crap as I can get in it and still move around. Always a meter shut-off key. Misc. flashing and backer rod. I could go on but I won't. Oh, yeah. Couple Frisbees. Baseball bat at the ready behind the driver's seat. And a couple of.......and that's ALL I need.

Some pieces of Lindt bitter-sweet chocolat wrapped in aluminum foil and then a plastic box. No matter what the disaster is; take a break outside with a cup of tea, a small Cuban cigar, and a piece of dark chocolat and when you come back in, you're ready for a fresh start. Come to think of it, add my 1 litre thermos to my list too.

Dang, you reminded me of my own Stanley thermos filled each morning with espresso. I'm from the Northwest so this is surely espresso land.
