I have a Emglo AirMate compressor Model AM99 HC4V that in need of a oil change. Does anyone know have many ounces of oil it takes to refill it.
Thanks, Mike
When deck posts exceed what the prescriptive code tables allow, it's time to consult a structural engineer for post sizing and possible bracing.

Peace
According to the copy of the Operating Instructions and Parts Manual that I still have,(being a packrat has an advantage at least once in your lifetime) the oil resevoir requires 4 oz. Hope this helps.
Isn't there a bit of a well-intended but poorly thought-out hash mark cast into the pump housing? I know my larger wheelbarrow Emglo has one, be it vague as it is. I've always just filled a shy higher than what looks right and haven't had a problem - yet.
they call for synthetic oil on mine , gotn it from dewalt service store
I have an older twin tank Emglo and it has a dipstick with a mark on it.
They dont have the dipstick anymore? Mine takes about 1/3 of a qt. or less to fill, but I would check with a Emglo dealer to be sure.
Thanks wood4rd, Craftsman 1510 and the rest of you guys. I got some new air filter elements from master Tool Repair and ask the them the question about how much pump oil it took to refill and they said about 6 ounces. Another dealer said about 8 ounces. Mine also has the red dipstick, but after putting in 6 ounces of oil the stick still didn't touch the oil, so I added 2 more ounces and it came up to the mark on the bottom tip of the dipstick. I did a Google search on this unit but couldn't find much info on the AirMate Emglo since they aren't made that this old one of mine anymore.
Again Thanks, Mike
