I’m looking to upsize my 5×10 enclosed utility trailer to something like a 7×16, or 7×18. I’ve got a Cary On Cargo trailer now which has served me well for the 6 years that I’ve had it.
I’ll be shopping the used market for my next one. Any recommendations for the next one, or warnings on what to stay away from? I’ve heard that Haulmarks or Wells Cargo are very solid, and Larks are junk.
I prefer barn doors on the back of the trailer, and I want electric brakes.
I run a small full time handyman service in NC. I can be carrying anywhere from 2 to 6 thousand pounds of tools and materail any given time. My truck has a 10k pound towing capacity.

I've no direct experience, but have a friend who's real happy with the Haulmark.
IIRC, anything over 3500# requires the electric brakes.
IMO, You want twin axles too for that size.
Mine is a Thule all AL
