I’m always interested in what other companie’s bids/estimates look like. If anyone has a copy of one online that I could check out, I’d really appreciate it.

You do realize there is a world of difference between the two, right?
Have you read the other threads on the subject here in the business folder?
I do almost no bid work whatsoever. The majority of mine is T&M billed after with only a ballpark guess or a cost plus based on estimate. I used to detail my estimates, but that caused too many nit-picky problems. Now, I am going to a total price estimate with a description of scope of work included and items excluded. My first introductory paragraph states clearly that this is an estimate only and that actual cost may vary according to choices made by owners and necessary work uncovered in process of the remodel.
Excellence is its own reward!
Mainly, I'm not concerned at this point how the subject of cost is discussed within the contract. I'm more interested in how the project's details are laid out on paper.
Sorry for any confusion.
Thanks.
