Can anyone give me a ballpark estimate to have an egress window installed in a basement. A couple of details… There is already a small existing window and poured concrete foundation.
Thanks.

Upgrading the footings and columns that support a girder beam is an opportunity to level out the floor above.

Turn key, Pella Casement, galv. well and acrylic cover with average interior finish in south east nebraska will cost you between 3 and 4k. You can spend a lot more without really trying.
Naive but refreshing !
The last one we did was subbed to the a mason. He got $650 to cut the hole set the window, dig the well and put in the metal well ring. We provided the window and I think it was $200 ish. I charged $1400 for it. DanT
I checked some prices around here.
US Waterproofing was 4-5k, complete.
Do it myself, hire concrete cutter was about 2k. Buy the window unit, well, etc as a kit, around $1,200 if my memory is correct.
So, ballpark, 3k low end, 4-5k high end.

Assuming a textbook installation with no worries...Dig hole, cut opening, install window, install well unit, install cover - I'd say you're at $5k based on the ones I've done.

We did our own work except for the concrete cutting. All told it cost about $1500 for a 6 SF window and a 12 SF X 4' deep well:
Excavation, backhoe rental, pickup & delivery $300
Concrete saw work (2 hrs, 2 guys, money well spent!) $300
(cut slab was dropped in bottom of well and left there)
Retaining wall blocks and gravel for the well $250
Sump pump and wiring $200
Casement window with egress hardware $380
Wood, trim & misc. $50
That was four years ago, so prices are probably 20% to 40% higher now.
