Anybody out there know an estimator that works on a consulting basis. I’m a GC in San Francisco area, I do custom home remodels and additions. I’m looking for an estimator to help me with getting bids out.

Hello Hooperpa,
Probably cant help you right now but I had a question and who knows what the future brings. I'm a 51 year old contractor/ builder on the North Shore of Long Island New York. I've done estimating for several builders when they needed a hand. For the most part I mainly do reno work. Twenty seven years as a builder in reno work. I have my house that I built up for sale for 1.150 mil. I paid $400,000 for it and did a major reno on it (check out my website with the house and my work at the bottom of the post). I'm in touch with a good agent in Sabastopol where I think me and my family will be moving. Was wondering if you had any input on how I might do restarting my biz between there and S.F.....I have an older daughter that lives right in S.F. Looking for some local feedback.
Thanks
Andy Clifford
