I have an expensive door just installed in a new home. House is ready for insulation, then drywall, etc so a long ways to go before completion. Ya’ll have any best practices for preventing damage? Maybe a blanket and then a screw a sheet of OSB over it. Of course the drywall guys will need to get around the perimeter. Thanks.

Unless it’s an odd size or shape, see what the door supplier has laying around that’ll fit and hang that till you’re done. A flush slab might cost you a hundred, but there’s your easily usable entry for all the trades that follow.
Have the finish guy hang the beauty on his way out the door.
If you’re looking to just block the entry from use, skin the faces of the door with cardboard and then your sheeting over the opening.
In a remodel we would make up a cardboard sleeve that could be thrown over it when deliveries came or tools brought in/out.
Your contractor shouldn't have installed your expensive door. Typically we'll get a cheap metal door and use it until work is complete. The contractor is responsible for damage butwhy have hassles.
