Experience with Malta Windows and Doors

I am considering various options for widows both replacement and new for upgrade as well as an addition to a 140 year old home. One of the manufacturers I have been considering is :
Malta Windows and Doors
244 THirteenth Street
369 Malta Ohio 43758
Does anyone have experience with this company or the product. I was lead to consider them by a friend who has ben in the window supply business for 30 years. Any thoughts comments or experience would be appreciated thanks.

I have Malta windows in my house that was built in 1988. I believe that the company went out of business for a while. I contacted them when they reopened and they told me that their window designs had changed. The windows I had were considered builder's windows and definitely not top of the line. I don't know where the new design comes in. I believe some of the original employees are involved with reopening the company. The folks there were wonderful to deal with and very helpful. I haven't seen Malta windows in my area (New England) so no idea what the new ones are like.

Thank you for your comments. I am unsure as to their continued presence in the workplace /market. If we go beyond the consideration stage I will let you know how the products work out. It appears they are producing a high grade window at present. Thank you again
