Exterior Basement Waterproofing
In a couple weeks our driveway next to the house is being replaced. They have dig down probably a foot or so from the existing grade to remove an old concrete and asphalt driveway.
I’m definitely going to use this opportunity to run gutters down into the driveway and route everything to the street.
This side of the house occasionally leaks in the basement and I wonder if there’s any merit of putting some water proofing membrane on the one foot or so of exposed foundation? Or are there any other products you would consider.
specs: house 100 yr old
found is poured concrete
total part of the foundation below grade is around 5 ft.
