Extra wide door sill /threshold extender
Referencing the article about installing exterior doors in extra thick walls… https://www.finehomebuilding.com/project-guides/windows-doors/doors-in-thick-walls
Our house walls are solid 8″ block with 2×6 framing inside. So if I install the doors on the interior to allow for a full 180″ swing, the total sill/threshold would need to be 12-13″ wide. I’m not finding any sill extenders wider than 5″. Does anyone know of an alternative? Thanks!

Your sill doesn't need to be that wide. The typical door jamb for your wall is 4 5/8" wide and the sill will be the same width. Sometimes when we run into flooring that doesn't come up to the new sill we'll use a 1 1/2" sill extension and on very rare occasions we'll use one for the same reason on the outside. If you have a concrete floor just leave the concrete exposed and it you have wood use some break metal over the edge and under the sill.
Depending on the transition between the block and interior floor height I have used a limestone “threshold” on top of the block with a regular sill extender lipping over the transition. The limestone extends over the face of the block an inch and a half.
Haha! I went to a condo today to measure for a new entry door and bless Pat if the "sill" wasn't 14' wide! It was a make-up job using parts and pieces of the original sill plus at least 4 and maybe 5 others!
