I’ve seen several eyebrow dormer in magazines and on a couple of houses. I’ve also been wanting to put a front entry roof on the front door and after seeing the eyebrow design I believe that this is the type of design I want. Has anybody have any experience with building a eyebrow front entry roof?

Have you seen the forum thread about eyebrow dormers over on the JLC (Journal of Light Construction) site?

Caveat: You have to be a professional tradesman to participate in threads there, but anyone can read them.
Eyebrow dormer
Framing an eyebrow dormer is fairly challenging. They look great in the right context, but require some math and planning.
It gets really hairy if you want the inside planes and curves to come together perfectly.
The company that I work for has fabricated many eyebrow dormers and entry/portico type structures, but we have a little different take on it.
Take a look at the website - if nothing else it will give some inspiration.
Good luck!
