As I get more involved with the EZ System, I keep searching for enhancements. One that I just added was a Big Foot Saw for use one the EZ rail. Depth of cut on the EZ rail is just over 3 inches.

I gotta ask.
How come your guide rail is so short? Am I missing something here? What is the use of a rail only slightly longer than the saw base?
Gene,
This was just an initial cut to check the depth of cut for this saw on the EZ rail so I chose a shorter one.
I have found that for me I prefer a variety of rails for use with the square depending on exactly what I am doing. This is a little 18" rail that I use for shorter cross cuts. My most used size is a 32" because it will handle most cabinet cross cuts.
My carry out kit has 4 short rails in it - 2 - 25" , 1 - 18" and 1 - 32". These started life as 2 - 50" rails. I can join all 4 and have a 100" rail for ripping 8' plywood or doing other long cuts. I combine the 32" and a 25" to cross cut full size plywood sheets. A little extra length is good for starting and stopping.
When we are installing a kitchen, I often use the 18" rail for short cuts like filling in for the light over the kitchen sink.

I like it! How did you get the worm drive to work with the EZ guide? I thought it was only for sidewinder saws?....
Recently, Dino made some improvements to the base for the left handed saws and has made it available to anyone who wants it. I had to remove some of the plastic edge to get it to fit. It's great having the depth capacity of a 10" table saw on the EZ rail.
