New HVAC for a project, and the lower (basement) level is anticipated to have exposed ductwork from a 11′ ceiling.
Anyone have experience with fabric ductwork who can tell me why not to consider using it (their sales pitch already tells me all the reasons I should)?
This will be a tight house, long straight trunk, cooling only as heat is via radiant.
Also, recomendations for any other products to consider for open ducts are appreciated.

It's A Good Method
Had it installed in one house, for the full-size indoor pool they added...
Fabric ducting works a bit different than you're used to ... when the airflow starts, there's an audible -if soft- 'pop' sound as the duct inflates. After that, it's absolutely silent - none of the usual duct sounds at all.
One 'fine detail' to consider is to replace the existing blower motor with one that can be infinitly controlled using a variable frequency drive. You won't need the full power of the blower, and the energy savings are considerable once you 'dial it in.'
