I am having facia covered with metal. Shouldn’t it be sealed at the seams where they overlap so water does not get behind? Might be a little hard to see, the craftsmanship isn’t very good in my opinion..but as for sealed, shouldn’t it have some sort of better contact to the wood? Oh and they did just the front so the funny cut job is a finished job ! ??

I don't like that corner at all and the fascia should be touching the shingles. That should extend back 3 or 4 inches at least and all the joints should be caulked with polyurethane caulk. We wrap all sub fascia corners and joints with flashing tape before we install fascia. I would not let them continue unless they redid those places and did the rest correctly.
