My wife and I found a great builder he is young but a go getter. We have a swoop in our roof line and we love it. My question is what type of material should we use for the fascia? The exterior will be LP Smartside. How can you achieve the swoop without looking choppy or a lot of pieces of fascia? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Depending on the size of the swoop.
Flextrim might be a source..
I’ve never tried to bend pvc stock on edge, but you might look at their sites as well.
PVC is perfect for that applications.
Then of course you could rip laminations of most anything and re- join them to a form to match the arc.
Which size of swoop is better to use?
PVC trim can be easily heated to bend. You do need a way to heat it. The usual way is with a heating blanket, which is pricey. But if you can contact you local Azek rep, they might have a heating blanket they'll loan you
