I live in Canada where we have pretty harsh winters. I plan to build my home with cedar shingles for the siding. I also want to cover the plywood sheathing of the walls with 2 inch thick XPS foam for extra insulating R value. What would be the best way to fasten the cedar shingles to the structure with the foam panels in place? |
