has anyone had experience with The woodchip concrete form blocks that can be used as basement walls when poured with concrete and reinforced with rebar? I have seen them in a project and they look promising but before shiftimg from regular poured walls and rigid foam insulation I would like some more feedback. Thanks

They work, but must take extreme care in installing, and placement of concrete. They must be WATERPROOFED, not just coated with black tar emulsion, otherwise you could end up with an indoor swimming pool...... For more info, go to insulatingconcreteform.com and click on ICF TALK. Consult a local engineer as well. LOL
*IanCan you explain what you mean by extreme care? How do they differ from polystyrene?
*The Faswall blocks are highly susceptible to moisture damage, they must be kept DRY and stacked well, they also can have problems during the concrete operations, since they don't give warning if you have broken block.
