Faux Exterior Windows Attached to Brick
Hello from Houston, Texas! Hubby & I unexpectedly inherited three grandsons so decided to contract out for a relatively substantial 2400 sq. ft. home addition. This was nearly 3 years ago now since the foundation was poured. The short version: our contractor/project manager did horrible work, was completely intimidated by my husband’s knowledge of how to correctly do everything from architecture to construction to flooring, & on & on, so refused to communicate with us, ended up taking our payment installments then not paying his contractors until he finally stole $$ & disappeared (oh the horror stories I could tell…..) leaving us pissed with pissed neighbors & a pissed off HOA. Live & learn.
With another 5 years before retiring as an aerospace executive, my husband builds cabinets & does plumbing & electrical, etc., etc. as he’s able while still a full time CFO & in-house counsel 45-50 per week on average for a NASA sub.
To me the addition looks as though we have a horse barn next to our existing house as our on the run from multi lawsuits, criminal past builder one day had brickers come out and brick the entire building with none of the windows we’d pre purchased installed.
At the moment were doing task by task ourselves but are in the market for something a little unusual. We want to have faux exterior windows mounted onto the front & back of the bricked building, but can’t find any window co that even carries fake windows, much less offer the service of installing them. So I guess we’re in need of some type of handyman / builder / contractor to 1) help us find some fake exterior windows that go with the look of our subdivision, and 2) attach them to the brick for us. Thoughts? Suggestions? BTW, our home is specifically in League City, TX. Feel free to email us at: [email protected]

This ranks up there on “one of the most unusual questions” posted in the history of this forum. That’s about 25 years.
Post some pictures of the real house and maybe you’ll get lucky with a fair suggestion.
Thanks.
