i have clients who are interested in removing the wood siding from the front of their house and installing faux stone such as “genstone” or “bellastone”. i have gotten information on both and they don’t seem to be very realistic and they lack the means to finish the ends or return around corners. does anyone out there have experience with a product like this? thanks for your reply. redgreen49

Our neighbour installed Owens Corning "Cultured Stone" on a section of their house. Up close (like a couple of feet) it looks fake - the texture doesn't have the crystalline structure of real rock - but from a 10' or more it looks pretty darned good.
They installed "Country Ledgestone".
