That is a good price for the closeout old model. Coastal is at $289 and Amazon (Toolcrib) is at $299. That $399 is from one of Amazon's clueless partners (Kentec) who doesn't seem to know that model has been discontinued and is discounted everywhere else.
Sure is tempting, but, but..... dang, that new model with the star drive and the tool-less blade change sure does look mighty nice!! $389 at Coastal for the equivalent (metal case & all the goodies) - ouch!
