Fein Vac Extension hose and wand??
I am getting a Fein Turbo1 vac. I would like to get an additional section of hose that is about 6-8ft long so I can reach my entire garage, without the vac moving. I would also like to get an extension wand so I dont have to bend over.
I know Fein makes this stuff, but there prices are outragous. Is there any aftermarket companys that make a compatable hose and tube?
Thanks

I bought a set of hose & attachments for my Turbo III from Amazon. Yours probably uses the 1-1/4 standard hose, so it should be easy to find what you want - even if you just get a longer hose instead of an extension.

Home Depot carries accessories for wet dry vacs. I bought a 1 1/4" Genie hose that fits my Turbo III, 10',$15. They also carry your typical plastic wands, nozzles and brushes. There must be a conspiracy regarding vac attachments, nothing seems to fit everything. You have to be creative, maybe remove the hose end, they unscrew in reverse, maybe add a couple of wraps of tape to it, maybe find other ends or adapters. The problems are encountered when connecting to a tool, too many variations.
Beat it to fit / Paint it to match
Thanks, that genie hose sounds like what I need. If I add a 10ft section that would make for a total of 26ft of hose, do you think that would be too long? and too much suction loss.
I've never used a Turbo I, Ledebuhr1. I don't know if 26' +- will have an effect. Not much stops my Turbo III except a jam in the hose, electricians boring chips are tough. It pulls just as hard full or empty. Un-jamming a long hose will present some extra work. You'll have to be careful where the hoses connect. An obstruction in the line may cause stuff to hang up.

I have no trouble with suction loss using long hoses. My Wap is a bit more powerful than a Fein, but I don't think you'll have a problem. I often leave the vacuum in another room, with its cord plugged into a switched plug strip.AitchKay
I use salvaged 1 1/2" pool-cleaning hose. I've got a 35-footer, but the 25-footer is the one I use most.
The cuffs are standard, and you might be able to get an extra from a carpet cleaner. You want 2 1/2" down to 1 1/2" to fit the vac end, 1 1/2" at the wand end. They screw on to the spiral of the hose itself.
Inexpensive metal 1 1/2" wands are hard to find, so I use old 1 1/4" household wands and heads. There's usually some monkeying around to adapt them, but often you can just jam them into the 1 1/2" cuff.
One bonus to using the smaller wands is that it limits your clogs to the wand. I've had to stick a 20' length of pipe through my hose before, and it's annoying.
Lengths of 1 1/2" chrome sink drain tube fit the 1 1/2" cuffs, and make good 1 1/2" to 1 1/2" splices and custom adapters.

Look in the drywall tool section of HD and you'll fine a better hose for $15 with adaptors for almost any tool. Yellow and green box.
