I’d like to preface with the disclaimer that no, I’m not a part of the company or paid by them in any way or any of that. But this is about a guy I know and consider a friend. He, like me, is a pretty die hard kind of Festool buff, enough so that he’s invested a chunk of time, energy, and cha-ching in launching an online venue for the stuff.
I think the most interesting thing about it is the difference from the day to day one sees on the internet. He actually trademarked the phrase “Achtung, Dude”. The persona on line is definately a direct descendant of Tim himself. Anyway, if you feel like taking a snoop, I’m sure he won’t complain about site hits.

Um . . . no
Just a friend. But he's a different breed . . . can ya tell? Anyway. Like I said. Its just different. I suspect that'll be his claim to fame.
"Here lies Tim. He was a different cat."

Does my custom made Lista roll out storage cabinet I had made qualify me as an official junkie......
Holy Cow. I don't know when the competition started, but I think you just won it. Can I have one?Real trucks dont have sparkplugs
If I get slow and run out of cash I'll sell you the package for $9999.99 and throw in free shipping and a blade!! I put Lista cabinets in my garage shop last year when flush with cash and work. I certainly wouldn't do it this year but I'm not ready to raise the white flag yet.

Not trying to be a buzz kill but since Festool pricing is standard across the board and everybody ships quick, how will your buddy differentiate himself from the already established dealers?
I wish him luck but I didn't see anything new/different/value-add on his site from the existing Festool network.

I was thinking the same thing, Norm. But I have to admit that his site is different enough to be interesting.
I know I certainly got turned off to McFeelys lately because all they push is the Festool deals. They aren't even that fantastic - I mean, it's like you said, the pricing is the same all over.
This guy's website is pretty fun, you have to admit. Justin Fink - FHB Editorial
