Taunton folk don't read the forum at anytime.
One almost gets the impression that this site is being maliciously targeted. There can't be any real point is spamming the same link 20 times in one day, especially since Google considers that link to be bogus and won't list it.
Kitchen Spam.
Google it and you get hundreds of forumns that have been hit.
It's so predictable that Taunton could easily block most of it with their easily customizable software, except they appear uninterested in making changes. I have a feeling something is seriously wrong there. Or they just really want no part of forums. I guess they don't make much money off the forum, but I believe they could get additional income by putting a sales person on the forum to interact with members and possibly push some of their better products. And if they got the forum into a more appealing fashion, that would boost traffic, which was something I thought they wanted. Oh well...
Yeah, blocking spam in general can be tricky, but this stuff should be easy to block. (Yet they still have Mollom making it hard for honest folks.) It's hard to guess what the motivation is at both ends of this one.
Look at the list and you find that they spam support forums for patients with various diseases. Nice folk.
come on now.............
If life is so grand at classic-why bother here?
And sorry for not deleting the fuck ers sooner-camping on Kelly's Island was pretty darn nice in many ways. Evidently no one else that could demo the kitchens were around.
Calvin, I appreciate all the work you've put into dealing with the spammers. Now knock it off.
As long as you're spending your time deleting the spam posts no one at Taunton will care. It doesn't affect them. If you quit and the board gets covered up, maybe they'll take notice. Eventually.
I'm pretty sure you're wrong. I try but can't get any reaction from Taunton. They probably block access for employees to the forum through the company firewall, and don't allow them to post on or read the forum off company time. Well, something like that. But I give a big thanks to Cal for kitchen mopping up.
respectfully........
I'm going to keep at it.

well, JR departed, maybe hope, and taunton did do the fest, and published an article of mine back in 1990 that let me tick off a 'publish in other than tech journal' box back then to get a raise <g>?
