50 some odd FHB magazines. Don’t have time to inventory which issues I have but they range from #22 to #94. For the price of shipping and a token fee for my time to pack them they can be yours.

Prescriptive codes don't address the connection at less common angles, so base the connection off more typical ones using bolts, structural screws, blocking, and steel tension ties.

I'm interested. What do you want for your trouble?
I'd say $10 for my time to wrap them up and drive them over to the UPS store.
Where do you live. I'll bring them into the UPS store and have them weighed. Won't be able to get to it though until the 5th of next month. As I am leaving out of town in the a.m.

No worries, sounds fine.I'm at zip 55959 in SE MN.I'll try sending you an email through the board here.
IIRC weren't you on the Oak at one time?
Ted,I don't know what you mean.Sincerely,Clueless
I thought I saw your screen name a few times at The Oak.
Another forum for woodworkers / builders.
Don't know if it's still around though.
Haven't heard of that one. I visit JLC and ContractorTalk some, and Knots occasionally. I'm spending less time on these boards and more time with family and friends (a good thing). I've been spending more time on a Classmates site...I lost touch with most of my old friends over the years...fun catching up. A friend broke his neck in a diving accident and has accomplished more in a wheel chair than many of us "fully functioning" folks. Not just sit at a desk type stuff either. He on the ski patrol (uses a cool mono-ski chair). A few years ago he was para-cycling world champion.Makes me think I should go do something.
One thing to be aware of - shipping cost!
I sent out (4) boxes of magazines (two to Canada) and it cost just over $140!
Luckily, I made $16.80 on the deal.

What about like 4th class freight, or shipping on Greyhound bus as cargo? With the weather we are having, dogsled would be the best option.
I did media mail in the US, the cheaspest thing, but there's not an equivalent to Canada - guess they don't read!
