What is the best and recommended siding, FIBER CEMENT OR STUCCO SIDING?

I am not a pro, but many stucco disasters in past decades.(mostly water infiltration) stucco makers always coming out with a "new" stucco system.
I am a fiber cement fan.
Where are you located? Stucco here in the Northwest is a nightmare waiting to happen. I think it's probably great in the SW. Fiber cement is pretty bulletproof.
Like every wall out there, it's all in the prep and installation. Stucco requires a lot of detail work to make it waterproof but FC requires just as much. I'd take stucco over poorly installed FC anyday and vice versa. Just because it looks nice on the outside doesn't meant it was installed well.
