I have to repair a fiber glass shower floor that was poorly supported and used by a really heavy dude! The unsupported part had a couple of cracks. I jig-sawed a hole thinking I could place rings of pvc pipe between the subfloor and the pan bottom. Nope, no sub floor. I now, after much crawling, have it properly supported. I have patched with fiber glass before, no mystery there, but I would like to texture the floor so it is not slick when it dries. Suggestions?

How about an orange peel type finish? A stiff 3"-4" bristle brush lightly dipped in some epoxy could be "sprayed" onto the surface with a wide putty knife fanning the brush. A little thickener could be used for a more pronounced effect, but that would make cleaning much harder.
