I am looking for a fiberglass based membrane to cover osb floor decks over living areas(yikes!)Saw this system in Japan on all the houses we framed, but never saw the actual installation. The floor was plywood,a floor drain tail piece installed,a fiberglass cloth spread out and up the walls 12″ or so, then the resin applied. I don’t know if it was sprayed or rolled.I do know it was done in different colors.Came back to side the houses later and was impressed with it’s look and durability.Nobody here in (ahem)Boise has heard of such a thang. The 2 options I am currently offered are roofing material 90 lb burnt seam ugly as sin no thank you.Or the “mira cote”membrane with rolled on polymer with sand added. Will be trying option 2 but would love to find out how the fiberglass ones were done.Maybe I should consult my local boat shop?ps.don’t come up here.
…and then one day it rained for a month.

Exactly what you are talking about is done with wood boats.
Check out West Systems, Systems 3, and other epoxy manufactors.
And go a google for "wood boat fiberglas epoxy" and I am sure that you will get a number of hits.
