One tenant moving out, another moving in. I’ve got a day or two to fill some minor nail holes in walls.
What’s your favorite product for this? I’m thinking regular DW mud takes too many coats and too much drying time. How about one of the powder products like Polyfilla or Plaster of Paris?
Thanks.

Spackling paste?
For small nail holes, I usually use Drydex spackling paste. The stuff that goes on pink or purple and dries white. Overfill, let it dry and sand. Then cover with paint. It comes in a tube. It seems to work well for me. Dries quick. Can't find the holes after it is painted.
Yeah, use a pre-mixed spackling compound. Generally will set faster than DW mud, sands easier, and paints better.
