I have a 1930 house inside city limits – hand dug well 4ft by 25ft deep w/4ft water. I have two options 1) fill w/clean fill dirt or 2) fill w/washed stone to water lins and backfill w/ clean fill dirt. Option 2 is much less expensive.
City health inspector said wells are not recorded so do I have a hole in the ground?
