Is the filter fabric a person would wrap around a footing drain to keep the silt/sediment from clogging them up the same fabric as used for weed control around a house or trees? The stuff I’ve seen for controlling weeds says nothing about burying it or for use with drain tiles. Has anyone used this for drain tiles? Is there a brand(s) or type I should specify? The home improvement centers in Minnesota I have access to are Menards & Home Depot.
