I am remodeling a home (diy project). The home is constructed of concrete block.  The exterior is stripped down to the block. I want to replace the current recessed windows with a flush mount/flange nailed window, or something similar if there is a better option.  I cants seem to find any information on the best fastening and flashing techniques.  Anybody have experience who can offer details or reference materials?
