I’d like some advice about dealing with my stairs after adding about 2″ to the height of my second floor. I’ve added 5/8″ sub flooring, plus the trac for the radiant and will use either 3/4″ or 3/8″ engineered. What is the best way to “adjust the risers” on the stairs that lead from the 1st to the 2nd floor so that they are all close to the same height or at least within the code?
