I’m having hardwood floors installed in a 640 sf apartment in Cambridge, MA (02139). I want the baseboards removed prior to this installation, and put back in place once the installation is done. I’m looking for a finishing carpenter to do this work.
References important.
The work can begin immediately.
Please e-mail me at [email protected].
TIA,
G.

I could be interested in taking care of it for you. My wife works at mass General and Im in there alot, I live in Beverly. Its a relatively simple matter, slice where its bonded to the wall,Pry it off easy, pull the nails from the back with plyers, mark studs, renail, fill holes,PAINT!!!!!!You could help sweat eqqqqqqq////or not ;Let me know Jon Bishop [email protected]
Jon-
You're not supposed to tell a potential client that it's "a simple matter"- you're supposed to explain your thorough knowledge of all of the intricacies and nuances of baseboard removal and replacement- you can charge more that way.....lol.

No doubt about it. Once you walk into any job thinking its going to be easy, you're virtually guaranteed to lose $$$ on that endeavour. And once you offer the client to offer some sweat equity, you'll probably lose your mind!
